Responsibilities:
- Understand the business and functional requirements and translate them in a technical design

- Improve the existing architecture / integration methodologies

- Take leadership within your projects

- Guide your customer and colleagues with best practices and pragmatic advise

- Design common components

- Documenting guidelines

- Leading efforts to validate new technologies

- Assisting in the diagnose of problems in the different application environments

- Interacting with client staff/executives, subcontractors, partners and vendors

- Employing formal methodologies and tools

Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Java

- Hands-on experience of at least one of the leading middleware platforms (webMethods, Tibco, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Biztalk)

- Deep XML knowledge, including experience from minimum one advanced such as XML editor, XML Schemas, XML, DTDs, XPath and XSLTs

- Communication protocols such as HTTP, FTP/sFTP, webServices, AS2 etc.

- EDI standards UN/EDIFACT, EANCOM, X12

- Have an affinity for BPM, SOA and/or BI

Profile:
- A background in IT is required, either through education and/or experience

- Consultancy experience

- Fluent in English, Dutch and French

- Result oriented and creative

- Good analytical and problem solving skills

- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise amongst the needs of different projects/tasks

- Good knowledge of general internal corporate business processes as well as B2B business processes and documents

- Eager to learn
